Why we love this Wine
We’ve said it before, but we are digging all these wineries riffing on red blends that smash it out the park in the drinkability stakes. Here Michael Downer hits the bullseye with his magnificently named ‘Falcon’ Pinot/Syrah blend. Juicy, slurpy and crunchy, with spicy plummy fruit and gamey notes, it sits at the lighter end of medium-bodied, has a brisk cadence across the palate and provides effortless drinking.
