The introduction to Jordan Hein's new house style, not a single-vineyard flex. Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Noir off two Adelaide Hills vineyards — Glendhu in Carey Gully, Peacock in Oakbank — fermented wild and left on lees across stainless steel and seasoned oak, part of it on full solids. Brut Nature, no dosage, nowhere to hide. Citrus and lemon rind up front, tight and lean, with a savoury, toasty depth. Jordan Hein's first tirage under this label. Precise now, more to give later.
