Why we love this Wine

Pinot Noir by way of Haute Vallée de l'Aude, and it's pretty haute to traute (that's a thing people say). Luscious and elegant, this is Pinot Noir born of cool climate and limestone-rich soil. It bursts with dark cherry and blackberry aromas, which are delivered on the palate also. Lovely length and linger for a lighter wine, while oak adds a spicy edge to the smooth finish. Structured certainly, but at no cost to freshness, this is a wine just as suited to burger night as it is to duck confit.
