This beautifully composed Chardonnay from Southern France's Haute Vallée de l'Aude is a cool, crisp, cracker of a white. Altitude + a cooler climate x Ferdinand May = white peach, apricot, and a delicate hint of exotic jasmine on the nose. The palate is racy with juicy apricot and white peach, finishing with a refreshing citrus kick. 20% of the wine is aged in French oak for three months, adding a subtle richness to the wine’s otherwise light, crisp character. Vibrant and elegant, this is wine to sip in the sun with a stellar sando.
