Why we love this Wine
Mark Haisma was the winemaker at the stellar Yarra Yering estate in Victoria for a decade. Today he works as a micronegociant in Burgundy, forging wonderful wines from a cellar in Gevrey Chambertin. Here we have a super Chardonnay from the Saint-Romain lieu-dit ‘Le Jarron’ that is all pure white stone-fruits with hints of soft spice, citrus, almond meal and distinct mineral line with excellent fruit weight, drive and balance.
