Why we love this Wine
Marie and Vincent Tricot have been tending vines in Loire's Auvergne region since moving there from Beaujolais in 2002, and this stunning Gamay takes its fruit from one of the oldest plots they work. The full potential of these 50 year old vines is explored, retaining energy in the fruit and unlocking the site's smoky minerality. Light-bodied still, but a little deeper than a lot of the Gamay that comes to us out of Beaujolais.
