Why we love this Wine
A relatively new addition to the quiver of wines from one of Alsace’s top producers, Marcel Deiss. A blend of Pinot Gris, Pinot Blanc, Auxerrois, Riesling from plots around the village of Zellenberg (Graffenreben and Ritterpfad). It’s tense and nervy with a crisp focus and vivid characters of citrus fruits, quince, stone-fruits and liminal glimpses of white flowers and crushed stone. Wonderful purity and sapid, mouthwatering drive on display here.
