From the stellar estate of Marcel Deiss, a blend of Riesling , Sylvaner and Pinot Blanc from several parcels of grapes around the Ribeauvillé sub-region of Alsace (Gruenspiel, Hagueneau, Weinbaum). It’s a picture of latent power with chiseled features, a gorgeous pure-fruited flow on the palate; sizzling with mineral-laden acid drive. A study in tension and detail.
