Marcel Deiss is known as the master of the field blend; a highly-skilled and much admired master of vinous gestalt, of making a wine seem bigger than the sum of its parts by utilising the full gamut of varieties permitted in his slice of Alsace. A white blend of Pinot Blanc, Riesling, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Muscat, Gewurztraminer and Sylvaner, it smells rich and expansive yet finishes dry…. It messes with your mind in a most delicious way.
