Why we love this Wine
Time and time again we are left wondering how Macarini produces this quality of wine at this price, and the Lasarin is certainly no exception. The wine presents itself with a beautiful, subdued ruby-red tinge. On the nose it recalls flowers, raspberries and blackberries; in the mouth it is dry, balanced, velvety and enjoyably tannic, a legacy of the noble nebbiolo grape. This is super-value drinking best enjoyed with pasta, grilled meat and fresh cheeses. Tutto bene!
