Why we love this Wine
Ooh La La is about right: Chardonnay with a clean, pure nose and refreshing, elegant acid. After a cool summer, free run juice was barrel fermented in new French oak with wild yeasts. Then maturation on fine lees, split across 1300L foudre and 500L older French oak puncheons. Toasty vanilla comes through, yet there's beautiful fruit up top—rock melon, ripe peach, lemon rind. Rounded out with a lovely creamy finish and mouth filling texture. What's not to love?
