Why we love this Wine

Groll'n'Roll, because Sébastien Dervieux used to be in a band before he swapped amps for old Grolleau vines in Anjou. Everyone calls him Babass, one of the pioneers of zero-zero winemaking in the Loire, looking after some vines planted back in the 1950s, hand-picked, nothing added. Light on its feet at under 11% alcohol, with pepper, mushroom, dark bramble fruit and a savoury, umami thing happening at the finish. Rustic in the best sense. Pure rock'n'roll.
