Why we love this Wine

Volcanic soils give rise to explosive wines, no exception here. Bright and juicy, with a little skinzy texture. No sulphur addition. This is crunchy Sangiovese, with characteristic cherry lushness and a little plum-skin sour tannin. Adding local South-Central Italian local variety Ciliegiolo adds interest, acid and a little funky fun to what is otherwise a classic style.
