Why we love this Wine
Valentino Dibenedetto and his four progeny are responsible for some of our favourite wines coming out of Italy's southern parts. They're doing a lot to love in the vineyard, ie. regenerative, no-till viticulture. But honestly, it's what ends up in the bottle that has hearts ablaze. A few days of skin contact plants this Greco Bianco somewhere between white wine with big personality and orange wine camps. The stonefruit flavours are rich and bountiful, the hue is a little hazy but gorgeously golden. The wine sees six months on lees in stainless steel, and comes out textured, fresh and with a charming saline finish. Primo stuff.
