100% Barbera with unmistakable character, heady and intense with bursting blackberries and morello cherries. For all its intensity, this has freshness and balance, macerated and fermented under strictest temperature control over 14-15 days. Aged one year in 2nd/3rd passage French oak before a further 3 months maturing in bottle. Drinking like an absolute dreamboat right now.
