Why we love this Wine
Viognier, Marsanne and Roussanne. Ripe and juicy whole berries plucked straight from the Granite Belt wine region and fermented separately in Qvevri, earthenware amphoras originating in Georgia, for just over a month. Punched down three times a day during fermentation, it’s a demanding drop but well worth the effort. Post fermentation, the Qvervris were sealed and left buried to keep cool and mature for 205 days. Layered and full of complexity — Viognier for perfume, Marsanne for a waxy texture and a touch of Roussanne for savouriness. Think mandarin peel, crisp apple and sweet honey. There's something special about this one.
