Albariño's built for salt spray — Spain's Atlantic edge, all brine and acid. Landlocked on Queensland's Granite Belt, hours from any coast, it's got no business tasting this alive. Does anyway.
One of Australia's highest, coldest vineyards, about as far from Albariño's comfort zone as you can get.
Grown at altitude instead of by the sea, this leans into tension over ripeness: citrus pith, crushed stone, a saline snap that stands in for the ocean it's missing. Texture's got weight without softness — built to cut, not coast.
