Why we love this Wine
Johannes Kopp is to German Pinot, what we are to 'sending you some nice drinks you will like'. Pretty darn good at it, that is to say. Kopp’s 2022 Spätburgunder is a more than fair match for local Pinots at the same price and packs in ripe black cherry, fresh raspberry, and a whole cabinet of baking spice. Nearly two years in old oak adds complexity without losing any of the playful, bright freshness. It’s a wine that does both depth and energy, and if you’re into it, chill it. Bang for buck? Ya, ya.
