Why we love this Wine
Stephen Pannell's Koomilya sites have birthed some all-timer rosés in recent years. The new release 2025 is no exception, filling big boots with even bigger feet. Mataro gives plenty of strength, intensity and those titanic tannins, creating a tightly wound palate with structure to make the Parthenon jealous. The nose is spicy and pretty: lilly-pillies, five spice, chalk dust, rose petals. Sometimes you can tell when a winemaker is simply besotted with a vineyard, and we dare say Mr Pannell is in luuuurve.
