Why we love this interesting drink
The Konpira Maru team know their way around effervescence, so we’re excited to dive into their Apple ferment here. It’s actually a Hybrid Pet Nat/Cider, considering it sees some Verdelho lees added. Vibrant peeled apple skins on the nose, chalky feel with tannins and lively carbonation. Our fridges need more of this for sure.
