Why we love this interesting drink
The Konpira Maru team know their way around effervescence, so we’re excited to dive into their Apple ferment here. It’s actually a Hybrid Pet Nat/Cider, considering it sees some Verdelho and Sangiovese lees added. Vibrant peeled apple skins on the nose, chalky feel with tannins and lively carbonation. Our fridges need more of this for sure.
