Why we love this Wine

J.J. Prüm’s Badstube vineyard, at the southern end of Graacher Himmelreich, is on a shallower gradient with a deeper soil profile than its siblings. For us, the resulting wine is a little finer, with increased floral notes, but still with great depth to the mineral-laden, unctuous white peach and nectarine fruits. The purity and detail in the 2018 wines is something to behold and of the Kabinetts, the Badstube seems the most giving at this stage of its evolution. A classic.
