Why we love this Wine
Jeff Traeger's organically farmed Cabernet Franc from the base of Menglers Hill gets the tender touch of Jean Bouteille. This is rosé that retains some stunning acidity. Whole bunch pressed, and slow, so that the skins speak (and what they're saying is: Phenolics, with a capital P). Fermentation and an 8 mo elevage in both stainless steel and Barriques. Smashable, fresh, jubey and juicy— sunshine in a bottle.
