Clarendon Ridge wears a crown of old vines grown by Fiona Wood, and James Erskine keeps prying out gems like this one. Small batch, 23 vines of thirteen varieties, some familiar, some obscure, co-fermented in true field blend style. Richly spiced, with white pepper and ripe plum character. Organic fruit, in a captivating translation of site.
