Why we love this Wine
While the style of Pinot Gris has evolved since their first vintage in 1977 to be more in line with modern Alsacian expressions, the passion and dedication for the variety has never wavered for winemaker Neil Prentice. Year on year, he lovingly makes his Pinot Gris with lees, barrel fermentation and oxidative handling, the finished wine being expressive, complex and rich. It’s considered by many to be one of the best expressions of the variety in Australia and has deservedly acquired a loyal following.
