Why we love this interesting drink
OK, here’s something different in a beautifully ethereal fortified wine. Pale and soft drinking, with delicate aroma and flavours, feeling more like an aperitif. As history goes, the first barrels ever made were left open to the elements, creating a diluted wine that people went mad for. Now, it’s legendary, and doesn't drink like the 19% it is, hence the 500ml bottle perhaps?
