Why we love this Wine
Mechthild, the matriarch, and Austria’s most important grape. Bold and forthright, she’s the rock that has weathered all storms. From their oldest (60 y.o.) vines, this is brightly mineral, savoury and alive, representative of the limestone and slate on which it grows. Not your average grandmother, or your average Grüner.
