Why we love this Wine
Don't know the name Sue Bell? Does Bellwether Wines ring a proverbial? The highly awarded winemaker and wine judge turns her attention to Kangaroo Island fruit for this Guroo project. We won't bury the lede, this is a phenomenal wild-fermented Cab Sav. 100% whole berries plunged twice a day for five days, then once daily until dry. Add nine months in French oak and you've got yourself a stunningly embodied red. Lovely depth and roundness. Herbal, unfussy. If there's such thing as easy-drinking, effortless Cabernet, we've found it.
