Jeffrey Grosset's spent over four decades treating Clare like sacred ground — certified organic and biodynamic vineyards, farmed sustainably, with each winery process kept gentle and uncomplicated. He's fascinated by the art of blending, and has explored this skill for years — Nereus is where that curiosity landed.
Shiraz and Nero d'Avola are planted and grown side by side at the Rockwood Vineyard, picked and fermented together — not blended after the fact, co-fermented from the start. Expect dark plum, blood orange, a peppery lift, fine-grained tannin folding into a silky, medium-bodied finish. Cool-climate structure doing the heavy lifting under warm-climate generosity.
