The well-intentioned folk of Mount Gambier continue to make some of the most interesting, enjoyable wines you can get your mitts on, a true testament to the versatility and quality of the Limestone Coast's mineral rich soils. This barrel-aged beauty shows a stunning copper hue care of a short (4-6 days) stint on skins, while just a little oxidation allows the aromatic profile of Pinot Gris to absolutely sing. Flinty and textural and utterly drinkable. A great glug.
