German backpacker Gewürztraminer lands in Wrattonbully on the Limestone Coast, thriving unexpectedly in the loamy clay and limestone soils. The grapes are left on their skins for 6 days, yielding an extremely floral wine that tosses its bouquet right at you. Despite the richer amber colour, on the palate it’s all lychee freshness.
