Why we love this Wine
Many hands make this white work. Geographic isolation and the mountainous alpine landscape in Northern Italy's Alto Adige have long been conducive to collective wine growing. With a 'commune' style approach favoured by local growers, these co-ops control some of the region's premier sites. Girlan is a sterling example of what these grower's collectives can achieve; tank fermented, with 10% undergoing malo to flesh out what is otherwise a laser-focused jolt of mineral freshness. Enjoy pulpy citrus and bright apple florals.
