Why we love this Wine
Lambrusco (fizzy, gorgeous, very nice wine) originates in Italy's Emilia-Romagna region, a sweet slice of paradise stretching from the Apennine Mountains to the Po River. This Aussie-made version holds up to its Italian ancestor damn well though, after all, the Adelaide Hills region has plenty in common climatically with its Italian regional relative— brisk winters and achingly hot summers do tend to drive one toward a bracing glass of bub. The Giovanni Armani Giorgio label are flagrant in their appropriation of the Italian style, yet somehow Steve Crawford (of Frederick Stevenson) and Adelaide hospo-hound Carlo Jensen still give it their very own funky stamp. A must try, entirely crushable.
