Why we love this Wine
While Nebbiolo is undoubtedly the King/Queen in the northern Italian region of Piemonte, there are several other grape varieties that offer great value and delicious drinking that deserve your attention. Barbera is one of these grapes and when it comes from a producer as great as Bovio, we are up for it. From Gianfranco’s father's estate vineyards in La Morra it’s a bright, vivacious wine packed with rich red fruits and floral flourishes. Pure and delicious.
