Why we love this Wine

Few do fun like the Spanish, and this light-bodied red from Fredi Torres promises a party. Organically farmed in the Conca de Barberà region of Catalonia, this has the tart cranberry-pomegranate quality we love in many a good Gamay, but comprises 100% Trepat (a local variety used to make fresh, uber-chillable summer reds). Fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel, then aged 4mo on fine lees. We'd call it a rosé, but also we kinda wouldn't. There's white pepper complexity and a certain density, but sweet lord is it refreshing. Call it what you want.
