Chianti makes us poetic, there's something so nostalgic and charming about the expressive red style. Tuscan Sangiovese for the most part with 5% Canaiolo, 5% Colorino. Traditional farming and a hands-off approach in the winery make this deceptively rustic offering from Fratelli D'Anna something remarkable. Deeply satisfying and ruby red, this is a wine to pair with unctuous curries, pasta dishes and cheeses, richly fruited and softly herbal. Tannin and acid finish. Heaven on earth.
