Slow maturing Lagrein rewards the patient. Grown between 230 and 359 metres above sea level, and blended with a small fraction of Merlot, this is a red blend of lovely, slightly jammy richness, beautifully balanced and luxurious. Vinified separately in stainless, then blended later, the two grapes are stunningly complementary, with just the right tension and energy. Named for the winemaker's daughter, whose artwork graces the label. Tastes like love.
