Frankland Estate are family-owned and operated, producing wines which reflect the unique ironstone terroir of the Frankland River region. The Estate Syrah is made from younger vines in the highly-acclaimed Isolation Ridge vineyard, with a splash of Marsanne and Viognier. Hunter Smith and Brian Kent are certainly leading the way amongst Australia's terroir-driven wine growers. Blackberry fruit, brooding spice, iron-stone minerals and fleshy fragrant plum. Bang on.
