This pure Nerello Mascalese comes from ungrafted vines in Contrada Zottorinoto, specifically, in Chiusa Spagnola, lower in the valley floor. Hidden in a natural amphitheatre, surrounded by lava, this is as unique as they come. It’s profoundly tannic and exceptionally bold, not unlike the man himself.
