Planted mostly to Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay and from a 2019 base wine and typically including 40% reserve wine from previous vintages, this complex, elegant Champagne beautifully balances orchard fruit, spice and minerality. Shifting the focus of his family’s Marne Valley estate on organic farming to maximise terroir expression for his fine and graceful Champagne, the wines of Flavien Nowack are traditional yet progressive.
