Why we love this Wine
The Rallo family have owned their historic vineyards since 1860, and each wine is a little time capsule. Fifty-fifty, Frappato X Perricone. Deep ruby colour, with lovely clarity and rich violet reflections, aging in Slavonian oak tonneau yields surprising complexity. A fruity bouquet of cherry and blackcurrant, sarsaparilla and cola, liquorice and tapenade. Fresh despite its surprising complexity.
