There are legends about Filippo Filippi's Castelcerino estate at the summit of Monte Calprea. A green oasis outside of time, from which unbelievably elegant white wines issue forth. This 100% Garganega from Soave's Colli Scaligeri DOC is no exception, with fruit from 70 year old vines. Aged 12 months on fine lees, there are heady aromas of pear, almonds and tropical fruits to be reckoned with, plus the Filippi signature: this is texture-town.
