Why we love this Wine
The Oddero family have been tied up in Barolo's wine industry since the 1800s, and unsurprisingly a lot of operations remain rooted in tradition, not least the transition back to strict organic practice that was more or less completed back in 2014. The 2021 Rombone Barbaresco is all grace and a little grit. Raspberries and cherries are cut through with grippy tannin, while the silky sweet spot between pretty perfume and earthy guts has been nailed. Easy to drink, tough to share.
