Why we love this Wine
Organically farmed Chianti from the village of Rufina — it's a transporting sentence, and the wine even more-so. 95% Sangiovese, with a few bunches of Colorino and Canaiolo tossed into the blend. Hand harvested the lot of them, macerated 20 days in stainless, and aged 10 months in oak casks before bottling. The result is light bodied, with vibrant red fruits and a little autumnal spice. Scrumptious stuff.
