Named for the lost city Plato swore was real, this is Estate Argyros doing easy-drinking that's epic. Founded in 1903 and now guided by the fourth generation, the estate spans over 120 hectares of ancient vines, cultivated entirely by hand, some ungrafted and untouched by phylloxera thanks to the island's sandy volcanic soil. The blend leans 90% Assyrtiko, 5% Athiri, 5% Aidani, kept entirely in steel for freshness over fuss. Lemon pith, grapefruit peel, white blossom, salt spray on the finish. No boat journey or sea monsters required.
