Why we love this Wine
From Italy’s stellar Alto Adige wine region comes this decidedly gluggable Schiava from the venerable Erste + Neue. Better known elsewhere as Trolliger and labelled as 'Kalterersee' DOC after the nearby town, Kaltern, it is a sexy wee red wine that has certainly taken our fancy. Wild-edged berry fruits, a splash of mulberry and cranberry for perfume and crunch, rose petals and just a lovely, floral-flecked, pure red wine that gives a lot of enjoyment.
