Why we love this Wine
Envínate started as four mates out of enology school in 2005, chasing old vines in Spain's forgotten corners — Tenerife's volcanic slopes being one of the best finds. Benje comes off ungrafted, pie franco Listán Negro and Listán Prieto, foot-trodden and fermented on wild yeast. Pale, light-bodied, almost see-through in the glass. Strawberries, cherries, violets, a dusting of volcanic ash on the finish. Drinks like sunshine on black sand. Chill it slightly and don't overthink it.
