Why we love this Wine
The stellar Abbruzzo Trebbiano from Emidio Pepe has long been one of our favourite Italian wines; a classic case of a great producer taking what can be considered a fairly ‘run-of-the-mill’ grape variety to great heights. It walks the ridgeline between fruit ripeness and savoury, minerality. Deeply layered - honeysuckle, stone-fruits, pear, citrus, soft spice, dried honey, white flowers…. It’s got it all, finishing pure, stony and just gorgeous.
