From the vinous high priest of Abruzzo, comes this scorching Montepulciano that will leave you bug-eyed and all gooey. These wines are treasures and we’ve had examples back to the late 1970s that are still drinking like champions. Intense wild cherry fruits, forest floor, spice, balsam and turned earth, this is a wine of soul - winemaker and place and just a wonderful connection with one of Italy’s great producers.
