Always well-muscled, this is Syrah in its leaner season: easy-drinking, light to medium bodied, all luscious cherries and smoky incense. A wine to have on hand when meats are charring or a funky cheese draws near. Lo-fi by way of the Yarra Valley, El’more is a name to know.
